MARSHA DUBBERLY WALLER

Marsha was born in Baxley, Appling County, Georgia. She lived at Bay Creek Farms during her formative years and like all the sisters was enrolled at the Altamaha School in rural Appling County, Georgia. She worked in the field alongside her sisters and other hired hands. She taught herself to play the piano. Nothing pleased their Daddy more than Marsha at the piano accompanying the other girls singing. Marsha attended Appling County High School where she was in concert and marching bands and, as a senior, was featured trombone soloist at the Pirates homecoming football game.
Marsha moved to Columbus, Georgia where she resided with Pansy and John. She attended Columbus State University where she was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority. She graduated with a BS degree in Criminal Justice, married John Stone and lived in Athens, GA for a time while he finished school at the University of Georgia. The couple settled in Waverly Hall, GA and a baby girl was born to them. Marsha returned to work with Pansy's company and became a softball mom.She and John parted company and after a time she met and married Ken Waller. Ken would be transferred to Augusta, Georgia where he was the General Manager of an Applebee's location.
Marsha embarked on a career in patient accounting with University Hospital in Augusta, retiring to be full time homemaker and Grandma in August, 2024. Ken would become an officer with the Richmond County Sheriff's Dept. and they have busied themselves enjoying their daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren and especially the football adventures with the Crimson Tide and Georgia Dawgs.
